On September 12, 2025, El Retiro S.A., took a decisive step by signing the Adhesion Act to the Productive Protected Landscapes Program (PPP) in Paraguay.

The PPP, created by Fundación ProYungas in Argentina and implemented in Paraguay by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), is a framework that bridges production with conservation. Its vision is to ensure that economic growth and agricultural development are inseparable from the protection of ecosystems, biodiversity, and climate regulation.

For Idyllica, this is a foundation for the future we are building: a landscape where productive land use actively contributes to carbon sequestration, biodiversity protection, and the generation of measurable environmental services.

Through El Retiro’s commitment, we are not only reinforcing responsible land management, but also aligning our operations with international standards for climate and environmental accountability. This adhesion strengthens the credibility of our sustainability agenda and opens the door to scaling projects that combine forest conservation, regenerative agriculture, and carbon certification.

Production and preservation are not contradictions, but complementary forces that create resilient landscapes, thriving communities, and opportunities in the growing carbon markets.

The signing of this agreement is therefore is a concrete step towards achieving Idyllica’s broader vision: protecting forests from deforestation, regenerating degraded land, and creating a sustainable legacy for future generations
